FAQ
Good
to know.
The questions cinemas and producers ask most, answered in plain language.
Booking
- How does booking work?
- Pick a screen and dates. Instant titles confirm on the spot; approval titles go to the producer's inbox, usually answered the same day.
- Can I book a whole run?
- Yes. One night, a week or an ongoing programme — one agreement and one set of keys covers the full window.
- Can I cancel or change dates?
- Changes go back to the producer as a new request, so both sides always work from the same confirmed agreement.
Rights and delivery
- Who handles rights?
- Territory and window are checked before a booking can confirm, so you can only book what the producer has actually licensed to your region.
- How do I get the film?
- DCP and KDM are issued automatically for the exact screen and dates you booked, valid for the whole run.
- Which subtitles are included?
- Producers declare the subtitle tracks that ship with a title. The languages are listed on the film card and you can filter the catalogue by them.
Money
- When do I get paid?
- Attendance goes in, settlement comes out as soon as it can — usually a revenue share of your gross, exactly as written in the agreement. There is no distributor in the middle holding the money, so nothing waits for a weekly or month-end batch.
- How is the fee calculated?
- Each booking shows an itemised breakdown: admissions, gross, and either the flat fee per showing or the agreed percentage of box office.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. Cinemas pay licence fees per booking, and producers set those terms per title.
